I owe a lot of you an apology for dropping off the face of the earth around May of last year.
I was in conversation with a couple of you (jimi45 for one) when it happened. The drop off the face of the earth was caused by simultaneous and sudden family problems and relationship problems. The relationship problems got better and Kelsey and I are fine. The family problems, not so much - my dad started going downhill very quickly in health and 7 or so months later, died (January 2, 2009.)
I may come back to livejournal, but not right now. I have a lot else on my plate. If any of you want to talk to me (and I'd certainly like to talk to you), find me on facebook (Jason Crowe), send me an IM on AIM (theattackpanda) or email me.
To sum up the last year:
- I graduated with my masters degree
- I'm regressing and getting an associates degree (in audio recording and post production)
- I'm sending out demos of my music to labels next month
- My dad died
- I'm taking diksha (initiation) into a Shakta sadhaka tradition and focusing all of my energy there (by considering the rest of my life, music and all, as an outpouring of my sadhana life - as a sort of lila, or play.)

I started a community. The theme is metaphysical and theological discussion, specifically centered around the Traditionalist/Radical Traditionalist/Perennialist schools of thought. Members of the community don't have to be Rad-trad or related, merely interested in the subjects at hand.
